Brookfield-based Briohn Building Corp. recently added Gregg Thompson as president of its construction operations. He has 33 years of construction experience, including the last 10 as president and CEO of Bukacek Construction in Racine. “I interviewed with eight or nine companies and turned down a number of offers,” Thompson said. “I was hoping to find another leadership position, which is hard to do. This was a case of good timing, and I am excited to become a part of this great organization.” In addition to his role leading the construction operations, Thompson, a Town of Somers resident, will help to bring Briohn’s design/build services to the Racine and Kenosha markets. Also, Bob Goehner is shifting roles into vice president of construction services. He will oversee field operations and see that the design details from Briohn’s in-house team of architects and engineers are executed properly on each project.
Oconomowoc-based MSI General Corp. recently added Jim Olson as vice president director of design. He was previously president of Briohn Design Group.
