WISN-Channel 12 dominates TV ratings again

WISN-Channel 12, a media partner of BizTimes, dominated the southeastern Wisconsin May sweeps ratings period.

Channel 12 News, weekdays at 10 p.m., is the No. 1 newscast in the region for the second consecutive May ratings period. WISN-Channel 12 led with an 8.9 household rating, followed by WTMJ (6.0), WITI (5.7) and WDJT (5.6). This is WISN-Channel 12’s widest lead in the late evening news competition in Milwaukee ratings history.

WISN-Channel 12 News grew its second half-hour late news audience year-to-year for the third consecutive ratings period. With a 6.3 rating, WISN-12 News at 10:30 p.m. leads in its time period and draws a larger audience than any other station’s late newscast, including the 9 p.m. news on WITI (5.9) and WMLW (1.0).
