*Monday, April 1, a new exhibit about the history of baseball will open at Discovery World. The exhibit, titled “Baseball – Innovations That Changed the Game,” showcases the evolution of the sport and the innovations that have advanced the game since it was invented in 1845. The exhibit, which will debut just in time for the Brewers’ Opening Day, will feature equipment and memorabilia like baseball mitts, bats, uniforms and souvenirs from the local auction and retail company MEARS. The exhibit will run through Sunday, May 19. Admission to Discovery World costs $16.95 for adults, $12.95 for children and is free for members. Discovery World is located at 500 N. *Saturday, April 6, Autism Speaks Milwaukee will hold “Walk Now for Autism Speaks,” a community awareness day that will feature an indoor walk, a business resource fair and the Milwaukee Bucks Center Court Entertainment. The walk, which is free and open to the public, will promote April as Autism Awareness Month and will support funding for autism research. The event will be held at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St. in Milwaukee, beginning at 9 a.m. Following the walk, Autism Speaks Milwaukee will join the Milwaukee Bucks for their 7:30 p.m. game against the Toronto Raptors. *Wednesday, April 10, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will present a free legal clinic at Marquette University Law School, 1215 W. Michigan St. in Milwaukee. The clinic will offer nonprofits assistance with filings, fundraising registration, bylaws updates, contracts, negotiations, employment law and more from M-LINC attorneys and attorney volunteers. *Tuesday, April 16, BoardStar Inc. will host a workshop on the importance of creating a board orientation manual. The workshop will teach participants what should be included in a board manual and the templates that can be used to ease the process of putting a manual together. B.
