Johnson Bank appoints Hernandez to Milwaukee post

Gus Hernandez Jr. has been appointed senior vice president and commercial banking manager for Johnson Bank’s Milwaukee region.

Hernandez will have an office in downtown Milwaukee at 333 E. Wisconsin Ave. and will also work closely with all commercial bankers in the bank’s Milwaukee region.

“Bringing over 25 years of commercial banking experience with him, Gus will join Brad Quade (also a senior vice president) in leading the Johnson Bank’s commercial banking function for the entire Milwaukee region,” said Peter Engel, regional president of Johnson Bank. “His knowledge of the industry and lending savvy will be a great addition to our team and directly impact our commercial banking growth plans.”

Hernandez most recently served as a commercial banking manager for BMO Harris Bank in Florida.
