Nischke Joins Wisconsin Lutheran High School staff

Former State Rep. Ann Nischke has joined Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WLHS) as associate director of mission advancement.

In her new role, she is responsible for the annual fund and appeals, alumni relations, and events including the annual auction.

“What a privilege to have the opportunity to use my talents to advance the mission of WLHS,” said Nischke.” It is exciting to work alongside the fine faculty and staff to help students develop the academic and personal skills to live a life of service in their homes, churches, careers, and communities.”

Nischke comes most recently from the financial services industry where she was a financial representative with MetLife and Thrivent Financial. From 2002 to 2006 she served in the Wisconsin State Assembly as the elected State Representative from the 97th District. Nischke chaired the Assembly’s Insurance Committee and served on the Economic Development, Energy & Utilities, Education Reform, and Long-Term Care Committees. Prior to her years as an elected official, Nischke was president of the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce (now the Waukesha County Business Alliance) from 1995-2001 and spent 15 years in leadership roles with the Milwaukee and Waukesha YMCAs.

“I am excited and blessed to have Ann Nischke as part of the WLHS mission advancement team,” said Matt Bilitz, director of mission advancement at WLHS. “Ann brings years of development experience and expertise, but above all, she brings with her a passion for the students.”
