Rockwell executives speak at Internet of Things World Forum

Five lead executives from Milwaukee-based Rockwell Automation Inc. are among the speakers at the Internet of Things World Forum in Chicago this week.

The speaker lineup includes Rockwell chief executive officer Keith Nosbusch, senior vice president and chief technology officer Sujeet Chand, senior vice president of global sales and marketing John McDermott, senior vice president of the Control Products & Solutions operating segment Blake Moret and marketing expert Ninveh Neuman.

The second annual Internet of Things (IoT) World Forum is taking place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago today through Thursday. The IoT is the interconnection of uniquely identifiable embedded computing devices within the existing Internet infrastructure. It is expected to offer advanced connectivity of devices, systems and services, with applications extending into infrastructure, thermostats, health care monitoring devices, automobiles with built-in sensors and more.
Cisco, which is hosting the Internet of Things World Forum, describes it as “the network of physical objects accessed through the Internet, as defined by technology analysts and visionaries.”
