Brookfield-based Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative is now accepting nominations for its board of directors.
The nonprofit insurance company began providing insurance to residents of 19 eastern Wisconsin counties at the start of 2014.
Board members must be 18 or older and insured by Common Ground. A committee will evaluate all the nominations and choose a group of candidates based on their experience and commitment, and then all CGHC members will vote on the new board members.
“Our member-governed business model is what sets us apart,” said Cathy Mehaffey CGHC chief executive officer. “We want members to help guide our direction, because it guarantees we meet our mission of putting our members first in all decisions.”
