Sanjay Kuttemperoor, president of Brookfield-based V.K. Development Corp. recently launched WikiRealty, a real estate web site that provides objective and subjective information about real estate properties.
www.WikiRealty.com was launched for the Milwaukee and Naples, Fla. markets, and Kuttemperoor plans to roll out the web site for other markets across the country.
The web site should be useful to anyone in the real estate industry including builders and developers of residential and commercial properties, residential and commercial brokers, lawyers, bankers, contractors, property and title insurance, architects, engineers, and designers, Kuttemperoor said.
“Our family has been in the real estate business for many years; and as veterans in the real estate industry, we have always been bothered by the fact that getting access to reliable and current location-based granular information in the industry is a difficult, inefficient and unproductive process (and this problem exists on a global level),” he said. “An even bigger problem is that consumers and other professionals have a hard time connecting all the dots of the various sources of word of mouth information (what we call “subjective information”) to the specific property details they are reviewing (what we call “objective data”) before purchasing or leasing property. WikiRealty marries the subjective information to the objective data so that consumers and professionals understand the nuances of the entire surrounding area of where they are looking to purchase or lease either residential or commercial property.”
