*Sunday, March 2, Anodyne Coffee will host a benefit concert in support of Wisconsin Water for the World at its Walker’s Point Roastery, located at 224 W. Bruce St. in Milwaukee. Wisconsin Water for the World is a nonprofit initiative that works to ensure safe drinking water is available in low-income communities across the world as well as improve sanitation in those communities. The concert will feature music performed by Caley Conway and the Lucy Cukes, Antler House, Ugly Brothers and Jack Balistrieri. The event will begin at 6 p.m. For more information, click here.

*Thursday, March 6, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning will hold a seminar on how to promote and steward planned gifts. The event, titled “Big or Small: Promoting Stewarding Planned Gifts in Any Size Organization,” will cater to nonprofit representatives from all organization sizes and sectors with a panel discussion featuring executives from different types of Milwaukee-area nonprofits. The event, which will also include lunch, networking, and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning’s annual meeting, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Conference Center, located at 631 E. *Thursday, March 6, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will host a workshop on “Demystifying Technology & Tools for Nonprofits.” The information session, led by Jerry Unger of Ironworks Software, LLC, will help nonprofit representatives better understand how to leverage technology to maximize impact with their missions. The workshop will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee, located at 2819 W. Highland Blvd. in Milwaukee. Cost is $25. Nonprofit Center members and CDBG agencies can attend for free. Attendees should plan to bring a brown bag lunch to eat during the session. *Thursday, March 13, Literacy Services of Wisconsin will host a volunteer orientation for individuals interested in learning how to become involved with the agency’s literacy programming. The orientation will run from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Literacy Services of Wisconsin, located at 555 N. Plankinton Ave. in Milwaukee. Attendees will not be required to commit to volunteering.
