- Saturday, Oct. 10 OnMilwaukee.com and The Times Cinema will host the 2009 Art Riot Block Party in front of The Times Cinema and the 5900 block of Vliet St. from noon until 2 a.m. In addition to showcasing work from some of the nation’s best, Art Riot 09 will feature over 40 local artists, bands, hot rods, custom bikes, food, and drinks.
- Saturday, Oct. 10 The 32nd Annual Briggs and Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital will take place downtown beginning on 12th and Wisconsin at 10 a.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 10 and Sunday, Oct. 11 The 2009 Wine and Dine Wisconsin Event at the Midwest Airlines Center. The Milwaukee Home & Fine Living event will feature chefs offerings, vintners, microbrewers, caterers and artisanal food producers in 100 exhibits. Tickets are $42 and include all tasting and sampling.
- Sunday, Oct. 11 Jungle Jack Hanna Animal Adventures will perform at the Pabst Theater, 144 E. Wells St. at 3 p.m. Cost of tickets is $17 to $35.
