Amidzich is new president of South Suburban Chamber
Chris Amidzich of Northwestern Mutual Insurance Co. Inc. is the new president of the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce, which represents businesses in the Oak Creek and Franklin area.
John Anderson, manager of Bank Mutual, Oak Creek, has been elected president-elect, and Steve Perrigo, Lynne Broydrick Group, continues as immediate past president. Lori Baumann, Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., was elected treasurer.
Other newly elected chamber board members are: Paul Beitzel, Ewald Chrysler Jeep Dodge; Mark Hansen, Staybridge Suites Milwaukee Airport South; Cheryl Muskus, CarmelRose Florist; and Tina Ramos, National City.
Also serving on the board of directors are: Kenneth Goltz, Secure Horizons by United Healthcare; Sarah Stevens, I Do Photography; Stan Kosmatka, The Kosmatka Group; and Gil Loppnow, FastSigns.
Barbara Wesener is the chamber’s executive director, and Heidi Griswold-Rhymer is the chamber’s executive assistant.
Binder joins American Bankers Association’s board
Associated Banc-Corp president and chief operating officer Lisa Binder has been elected to serve a one-year term on the American Bankers Association’s board of directors.
The ABA is the nation’s largest bank trade association and works to enhance the competitiveness of the nation’s banking industry and strengthen America’s economy and communities.
"I am pleased to represent Associated and its customers, colleagues, and communities on the ABA board," said Binder, who works in Associated’s downtown Milwaukee offices. "The entire banking industry is operating in unchartered waters, making the ABA an even more critical resource for banks like Associated."
"We are pleased to welcome such an accomplished banker to our board of directors," said Edward Yingling, ABA president and chief executive officer. "The involvement of our dedicated board provides the ABA with essential guidance that helps us fulfill our mission and respond to our members."
