The Martin Luther King Economic Development Corporation, the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) and Enterprise Community Investment Inc. celebrated the grand opening of King Commons II on Wednesday. The development features 24 residential units on nine sites between North 2nd and 4th Streets near King Drive and West Hadley Street, as well as some commercial space. Speakers at the opening included Mayor Tom Barrett, WHEDA Executive Director Antonio Riley, MLKEDC Executive Director Welford Sanders and more.
