What’s new at your company?

“Celebrating our centennial this year! Mayor Tom Barnett, Commerce Secretary Mary Burke, and a couple hundred of our partners and customers were invited to celebrate a century of business at Pier Wisconsin on June 14.”

Do you plan to hire any additional staff or make any significant capital investments in your company in the next year?

“We plan to expand our logistics services to meet customer needs. This portion of our company has grown from one person to seven in three years.”

What will be your company’s main challenges in the next year?

“Emphasis on logistics services, international trade consulting and compliance to meet market needs.”

What’s the hottest trend in your industry?

“Growing awareness by customers of the importance of formal compliance and security programs to meet federal guidelines, regulation and standards.”

Do you have a business mantra?

“KISS: Keep it simple!”

From a business standpoint, who do you look up to?

“Lee Iacocca. His (new book) is stunning, straight talk that should inspire or at least give pause to those that believe in America.”

What was the best advice you ever received?

“Don’t forget that it’s all about the people (staff).”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“Read (mostly history and religion), garden, enjoy my family.”
