Patricia Jursik of the law firm of Jursik & Jursik in Cudahy has been honored as the Business Person of the Year by the Cudahy Chamber of Commerce.
Jursik is credited with helping to lead growth and revdevelopment efforts in Cudahy. She currently holds the offices of chairperson of the city’s Design Review Board, vice chairperson of the Cudahy Public Library board and director of the Cudahy Chamber of Commerce board.
She also serves on the Lakeside Common Downtown Committee, which is responsible for the coordination and implementation of redevelopment of the city’s downtown district.
She has also been active in other organizations.
She earned her law degree from Marquette University and, since 1980, has been a partner in the Jursik & Jursik firm at 4600 S. Packard Ave.
