The Wisconsin Department of Tourism has awarded 15 organizations around the state with its Tourist Information Center Grant. The grant is designed to assist local nonprofit organizations, municipalities or Native American Tribes who operate tourist information and visitors centers throughout the state. Eligible applicants may be reimbursed up to $15,000 per organization per year. Grant money can be used as reimbursement for staff at the centers, acquire promotional materials or for purchasing display equipment like racks and shelving.
