Waukesha State Bank will open a new branch at 18300 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield, replacing its current office at 19265 W. Capitol Drive.
The bank will break ground on the 5,500-square-foot office on August 1 and it is expected to open in the spring. It will have a community room for use by local community groups and nonprofits, as well as drive-up windows and a drive-up ATM.
Katie Hibbard will continue to serve as bank manager for the Brookfield branch.
“We’re pleased we can build a larger office that will better meet the needs of our customers, while only moving down the street less than one mile,” said Ty Taylor, president and CEO. “Also, adding a community room that will be open free of charge to local non-profits and civic groups will provide a wonderful resource for the community. We expect a seamless move to our new office early next year with no interruption of service, and that the move will have an overall positive impact on our customers.”
Waukesha-based Waukesha State Bank has full-service branches in Delafield, Mukwonago, Muskego, Oconomowoc, Pewaukee, Sussex and Waukesha. It will host a grand opening for another new branch, at National Avenue and Sunnyslope Road in New Berlin, tomorrow.
