The assets of VyMac Corp. have been sold and the company will close its Whitewater facility, W3130 State Road 59 East, on February 28.
All of VyMac’s 42 employees will be laid off in phases ahead of the closure.
The custom sewing and contract quilting company was founded in 1958 and primarily makes mattress products and components.

VyMac’s 12-acre campus holds a 160,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
The South Central Workforce Development Board will provide Rapid Response Services to affected workers.
