Two hotels planned in Oak Creek near airport

Fond du Lac-based Wisco Hotel Group plans to develop a three-story, 122-room Fairfield Inn hotel and a three-story, 99-room Candlewood Suites hotel on 7.5 acres at 6440-66 S. 13th St., Oak Creek. The site is near General Mitchell International Airport and is just outside the Milwaukee city limits. It is also next to the 138-room Comfort Suites hotel at 6362 S. 13th St., which Wisco Hotel Group also owns. The company also owns the nearby 115-room Holiday Inn Express hotel at 1400 W. Zellman Court, Milwaukee.
