The Milwaukee Ballet has announced the production line up for its 41st season as an organization. The new lineup will feature three full-length ballets, new productions of old favorites and a few ground breaking new works.
This year’s season includes Esmeralda, The Nutcracker and Coppélia.
The Ballet will also present a world premiere from Darrell Grand Moultrie, Diane Coburn Bruning’s bluegrass-inspired Ramblin’ Suite, and Broad Waters from Milwaukee Ballet’s Petr Zahradnícek.
“Our commitment continues to provide audiences with timeless classics, magical favorites, world-class spectacles and innovative new works, while offering the ultimate in flexibility and an abundance of opportunities to meet the company and enhance a family’s ballet-going experience,” said artistic director Michael Pink.
The season begins Oct. 28-31, with Esmeralda, and continues with the holiday favorite, The Nutcracker.
