Telar Center launched
Telar Center has been launched in Mequon to offer business services that allow small companies to focus on their core competencies.
Allen Oelschlaeger, a founder of Telar Center, said "The origins of this company were in response to my and others experiences as small business entrepreneurs, and the amount of time we spent on such tasks as bookkeeping, accounting, employee benefits, human resources issues, IT solutions and office infrastructure. We found this took us away from the core activities that are critical to growing a business, so we started putting systems in place to deal with these ‘distractions’. Over time, this effort grew into an offering serving several companies. These services were so beneficial in minimizing our hassles and enhancing our business success, that we decided to spinout a separate business to provide distraction relief services to the general market. Telar Center is the result of that decision."
Telar Center has also teamed up with General Capital to offer executive suites at the Telar Center location on Port Washington Road. The building is a Class A office facility and is fully furnished. The facility includes a reception area, two conference rooms, telephone system, high-speed Internet connection, wireless WI-Fi network,LCD projector, printer, fax and copy machines, and a kitchen.
Telar Center consists of a web (the meaning of Telar) of internal and external resources, which are focused on "efficiently and cost-effectively providing relief from the distractions facing small business entrepreneurs," Oelschlaeger said. "Telar Center’s internal personnel have extensive backgrounds in office management, bookkeeping, accounting, human resources, administrative support and small business management," he added. "Of equal importance, the Telar Center team has a vast Rolodex of contacts and service providers in southeastern Wisconsin who specialize in meeting the needs of small business entrepreneurs."
