Pearls for Teen Girls, Inc. has a chance to win $250,000 with the help of voters in support of its mission. The Milwaukee nonprofit has been selected out of thousands of charity organizations nationwide to take part in the National 2012 Chase Community Giving Program. The program awards grants to deserving nonprofits from a pot of $5 million. Grants are distributed according to individual votes.

Nominated organizations have an opportunity to win the grand prize of $250,000 as well as increments of $100,000; $50,000; $20,000; and $10,000. Chase will award grants to 152 nonprofit causes. Pearls is a leadership development organization devotes to helping at-risk girls ages 10 to 19 succeed in school, avoid pregnancy and accomplish their goals.
