James Cox has joined Milwaukee private equity firm Brass Ring Capital as special advisor. He will assist the firm in identifying and completing investments in the southeastern United States as it expands its geographic reach.
"Our relationship with Jim spans more than a decade, even predating the formation of Brass Ring" said David Raffel, managing director of Brass Ring. "Jim brings an incredible wealth of high level operating and investing experience to our team. Plus, Jim's Florida location affords Brass Ring an excellent opportunity to expand our reach into the attractive Southeastern region of the country."
Cox has served in senior executive roles at Fiserv for the past 12 years. He most recently worked as executive vice president of corporate development, during which time he completed 31 transactions worth more than $6 billion. He retired from Fiserv in July.
