Mequon-based Spectrum Investment Advisors has been named a finalist for the 2015 Retirement Plan Adviser Team of the Year by Plansponsor magazine.
Plansponsor received 76 nominations for the team category, and Spectrum is among nine finalists. This is the second consecutive year the wealth management firm has been a finalist.
Finalists are chosen by a jury of their peers based on services they offer, how their plans are benchmarked, what kind of information is provided to clients, their integration of retirement and income replacement preparation, whether they offer 3(21) or 3(28) fiduciary services, the frequency of their evaluation of service providers and investments, and whether they offer guidance to those utilizing their plans or sit on committees that plan investments or retirement.
The winner will be announced at the Plansponsor/Planadviser Awards Excellence Dinner on Tuesday, March 31, in New York City.
In addition, Spectrum has been nominated for The National Association of Plan Advisors 2015 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award. The award is given to firms that demonstrate leadership and innovation in the sales, marketing and creation of 401(k) offerings.
The 10 NAPA finalists were chosen from among 100 nominees. Semi-finalists were chosen for their demonstrated talent in plan design innovations or products, attention to peers and customers, plan growth or client retirement readiness results, participation in industry events and committees, and soliciting advice from peers, regulators and policy makers.
The winner will be announced at the 2015 NAPA 401(k) summit at the end of March in San Diego.
