PNC’s Corporate Banking Group and Schenck S.C. will host “Business and Banking in China” on Wednesday, May 21, from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 10499 W. Innovation Drive in Wauwatosa.
The event will include networking and breakfast from 7 to 7:30 a.m., followed by a presentation on current affairs, opportunities and challenges to doing business in China from Stefan Kracht and Thaddaeus Mueller of Fiducia Management Consultants.
A second presentation by Daniel Joseph, a vice president in PNC’s International Banking Group, will address strategy and differences of doing business in China.
Topics addressed will include political transitions, RMB internationalization, key opportunities for North American manufacturers, Shanghai Free Trade Zone, challenges in executive search, trends in finance and accounting, mistakes to avoid when setting up in China, differences between U.S. and China and financial opportunities.
