Continental Surveying Services LLC has acquired Elder Engineering in a transaction that merges the two Richfield-based companies.
For 40 years, Elder Engineering has provided land surveying services to the commercial and residential market.
Rick Hillmann, president of Continental Surveying Services, said Elder founder Jim Elder Sr. is retiring.
Continental Survey Services will also do business as Elder Surveying Services, Hillmann said.
