Mortenson Construction recently promoted Scott Heberlein to director of operations and Mel Langlais to safety director of the company’s Wisconsin operations. Heberlein has worked in the construction industry for 14 years. He has managed several high-profile projects in the Milwaukee area, including the $62 million expansion at Columbia St. Mary’s in Mequon and the $48 million Kilbourn Tower construction in Milwaukee. Langlais most recently served as Mortenson’s safety manager on a hospital project in Chicago.
