Children’s Hospital to consolidate Illinois operations
Children’s Physician Group P.C., an entity of Milwaukee-based Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, will consolidate its Illinois operations into one facility in Vernon Hills.
The new 30,000-square-foot facility at 701 Woodlands Parkway will consolidate the organization’s existing offices in Gurnee, Libertyville and Buffalo Grove.
Children’s Physician Group hired Wauwatosa-based Irgens Development Partners‘ Chicago office to serve as its tenant representative. Irgens negotiated a lease with landlord Van Vlissingen & Co.
Construction management services are being provided by Irgens, and the design/build-out process is underway. Additional project team members include Brubaker Architects and Krusinski Construction. Full occupancy is expected by October.
“Children’s Physician Group is a growing organization of primary care and pediatric sub-specialists who are dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of children and their families in northern Illinois,” said Larry Duncan, senior vice president of ambulatory, diagnostic and regional services for Children’s Hospital and Health System. “Our new facility in Vernon Hills will allow us to optimize our space and conditions so we can grow our operations and better serve the local community.”
