CVS’s controversial bid for a 24-hour store at the southeast corner of Ohio Street and Washington Avenue has come to an end.
After months of meetings, the City Council voted 7-6 on Monday to deny a request to rezone from residential to commercial properties at the intersection where the company had wanted to construct a 13,225-square-foot store.
