Oldenburg Metal Technologies Inc. has purchased Gen Mach Tooling in Saukville.
The tool and die and custom and production machining company, which had about $4 million in sales last year, was running out of space in its 10,000-square-foot Port Washington facility and was landlocked.
The Gen Mach business will complement OMT’s existing capabilities and provide the additional space it needs to grow, with room for future expansion. The facilities are just six miles apart.
Gen Mach is a production machining company with low and high volume capabilities. OMT has started office construction and has ordered two new machines as part of the merger.
OMT will bring on Gen Mach’s eight employees, bringing it to 30 total employees. Ken Bublitz, owner and president of Gen Mach, will retire and Jeff Decker will absorb his duties in his role as operations manager for OMT.
