Bucyrus bumped up to S&P MidCap 400 list
Bucyrus International Inc. replaced Dentsply in the Standard & Poor’s MidCap 400 list late last week.
The company was added to the S&P MidCap 400 GICS Construction & Farm Machinery & Heavy Trucks Sub- Industry index.
South Milwaukee-based Bucyrus manufactures large-scale surface and underground mining equipment used for mining coal, iron ore, copper, oil sands and other minerals. Dentsply produces a broad range of products for the dental market. Headquartered in York, Pa., the company will be added to the S&P 500 GICS Health Care Supplies Sub-Industry index.
Regal Ware/West Bend Co. museum opens in West Bend
The Washington County Historical Society opened the West Bend Co./Regal Ware Historic Museum at 18 E. Washington Street in West Bend last week.
The museum includes products made by both companies over the last 60 years, as well as descriptions of how some of them changed the way food is prepared in the home.
Regal Ware acquired selected assets of the West Bend Company in 2002 and combined the companies.

Signicast upgrades website for customer ease
Signicast, an investment castings firm based in Hartford, has upgraded its web site, making it easier for new customers to learn more about the investment casting process.
The redesign also allows previous customers to access technical information regarding the casting process and the company’s capabilities. Customers are also able to access online design assistance, said Kristin Reid, the company’s marketing coordinator.
