Key Ozaukee County projects

  • Continental Properties is building a 388,000-square-foot retail development at the northwest corner of I-43 and Highway 60 in Grafton. The project will include a 151,000-square-foot Costco Store.
  • Wal-Mart plans to build a new Supercenter store on 41 acres at I-43 and Highway 33 in Saukville. The Wal-Mart store would be part of a 150-acre commercial and residential development by A.N. Ansay & Associates, which includes 70 to 80 condos and a potential senior housing facility with 100 to 115 units. Road construction is planned for March.

  • The Luxembourg American Cultural Society Inc. will build a new cultural center in Belgium. The first phase of the center will include a museum, a village square, several retail, civic and residential buildings. Work is scheduled to start later this month, and the museum is slated for dedication in August.
  • Paul Wiese Real Estate Corp. has proposed a mixed-use development at the southeast corner of I-43 and Highway 60 in Grafton. The proposal includes a gas station and convenience store, restaurant and 88-room Hampton Inn & Suites.
  • Steinhafel’s has purchased a parcel of land near the I-43 and Highway 60 interchange in Grafton, presumably to develop a new furniture showroom.
