Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin; Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls; and several Aurora Health Care facilities were named to U.S. News & World Report’s list of 2015-16 Most Connected Hospitals.
Most Connected Hospitals examines the importance of information exchange in the health care industry as hospitals move from paper to electronic medical records to make patient care better and more efficient.
The Aurora facilities are: Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee; Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan; Aurora Medical Center of Oshkosh; Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha; and Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
U.S. News, which has published a list of Best Hospitals for more than 25 years, honored a total of 159 U.S. medical centers in 37 states for their digital connectivity and clinical excellence.
To be eligible for the Most Connected recognition, each hospital also had to achieve a national ranking or high-performing recognition in the 2015-16 U.S. News Best Hospitals, Best Hospitals for Common Care or Best Children’s Hospitals.
