Patrick J. Derpinghaus has been named general auditor of Associated Bank-Corp., the corporate parent of Associated Bank. Arthur E. Olsen III, Associated’s former general auditor, has retired. Olsen served as general auditor for the company since 1993.  

"We want to thank Art Olsen for his many years of service to Associated and wish him well in his retirement," said President and CEO Philip B. Flynn. "At the same time, we are pleased to announce that Pat Derpinghaus will assume the independent internal audit function of the company, functionally reporting directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.  Pat brings many years of audit and risk management experience to Associated." 

Derpinghaus joins Associated from U.S. Bancorp where he served as audit director. He brings more than 30 years of experience in various audit, accounting and administrative capacities to Associated.

Christopher Brock has been named vice president of business banking at Brookfield-based North Shore Bank. He will specialize in Small Business Administration lending.

Brock is a 30-year veteran of the banking industry. His primary focus is commercial lending, where he develops and maintains solid client relationships and provides loan options to meet their needs.

“Chris a great choice to oversee our SBA lending,” said Bob Hoepfner, regional vice president of business banking at North Shore Bank. “His dedication to clients and exceptional service is what North Shore Bank is all about, and we’re delighted to have him at our bank. Chris’ insight and experience offers clients the ability to explore what’s best for their business to grow and prosper."
