ESW/Blue Horse Promotes Falk

Susie Falk was recently promoted to vice president of public relations at Milwaukee-based ESW/Blue Horse. Falk has been with the company since 2000 and most recently served as a public relations account supervisor. As vice president, she will manage, direct and supervise public relations accounts at ESW/Blue Horse, as well as contribute to the agency’s new business development activity.

Falk currently serves clients such as Chicago-based U.S. Cellular Corp., Chicago; Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc.; Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa; and the Fountain Valley, Calif.-based Spasmodic Torticollis Dystonia Association.

"(Susie) understands the multiplying effect that (public relations) can have on our clients’ marketing initiatives," said Steve Johnstone, executive vice president of public relations for ESW/Blue Horse. ESW/Blue Horse is affiliated with the Ebel Signorelli & Welke agency in Chicago.

Prior to joining ESW/Blue Horse, Falk worked as an independent consultant. She previously worked at United Wisconsin Services/Blue Cross & Blue Shield and at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Falk received an international 2003 Crystal Obelisk Awards for Social Responsibility, sponsored by the Women Executives in Public Relations. She serves as a volunteer advocate for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Wisconsin Chapter’s government relations committee and received the 2004 Advocate of the Year Award from the organization.
