With a pleasing thud, the bright white golf ball landed on the 17th green of the The Orchards at Egg Harbor.
The foursome belonging to the ball played through briskly, leaving a small gap for the four other groups of golfers strung out behind them on the 16th hole. A look around from a nearby slope revealed carts and players in all directions on the back nine.
