Menards is embarking on an expansion at its Eau Claire area headquarters just west of the city.
The home-improvement retailer is requesting a conditional use permit to locate a temporary ready mix concrete plant and related equipment on its land in the town of Union. The plant would supply concrete for a planned distribution center expansion north of Menard Drive and south of County Line Road at a site accessible by Town Hall and Kane roads. It’s expected to be in operation until at least July 2016.
