What has fueled your company’s growth?
Exceptional customer service and a high success rate with our deliveries. We have a saying in our office and on our literature, “Yes, we can!” No, is not in our vocabulary. Rain or snow, Christmas or Thanksgiving, if you need a delivery or pickup we will have a vehicle or truck to you within 30 minutes; that creates loyalty.
What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?
The economy in general is our biggest obstacle. We cannot control the overall condition of the economy and we feel the residual effects of the general condition on our customer base. The transportation industry is a competitive market. The only way to stay ahead is to be on time every time, treat your customers and drivers with respect, and have reasonable pricing.
Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months?
We are always looking for bright, talented prospects to join our management team and we are expanding our fleet of vehicles to give our customers more options to meet their needs. We recently opened a branch in Appleton. We have also implemented a “go green” policy. All new fleet vehicles are hybrid and we have reduced the speed of our vehicles.
What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months?
Positive. As the economy climbs out of the recession, the transportation industry follows along.
What is your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession?
Customer service. In today’s economy, you have to be there for your customers. We do anything our customers ask to help them. E-Freight Courier does not close and we do not turn a delivery down. Our Eco-Friendly program has helped our company save thousands of dollars in fuel expenses and repairs.
