Grundfos, a leading manufacturer of water pumps, will make Downers Grove its North American headquarters in the spring.
The Danish company, which has global revenues of around $4 billion and employs 20,000 people across 45 countries, believes Chicago is poised for growth when it comes to the water industry—and not just because it is surrounded by the region’s Great Lakes, which hold more than a fifth of the world’s fresh water.
