Learn more about:

Wauwatosa-based Corix Utilities has been contracted by Itron to install the City of Madison Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System.

Project H2O is Madison’s program to automate its water meter reading system. Direct benefits will include more effective and efficient water conservation as well as the creation of employment when Corix opens a new office in Madison in May 2012.
“We will be opening an office in Madison beginning in May because of this initiative. And to meet the needs of the installation project, we expect to hire approximately 25 contract staff,” said Jeff Van Ess, vice president of measurement services at Corix Utilities U.S.A.
Corix will work with Madison Laborers Union Local 464 on the project. It is expected to be complete by mid-2013.
