City seeks buyer for historic home

The city of Milwaukee is seeking bids for the purchase and rehabilitation of a 119-year-old home at 2742 W. State St. in the city’s Concordia neighborhood. The two-and-a-half story home has 3,750 square feet of living space on the first and second floors, and a full attic and basement. The city’s asking price for the property is $80,000, plus a commitment from the buyer to rehabilitiate the property. The home could be used for a bed and breakfast operation.
