Forbes editor to discuss business ethics in Milwaukee
Neil Weinberg, senior editor at Forbes magazine, will discuss "America’s Corporate Crime Epidemic: Why It Continues and How to Cure It" at the Business Ethics Speaker Series in Milwaukee on Thursday, Nov. 20. The event, which will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Pfister Hotel, is sponsored by the M&I Marshall & Ilsley Center for Business Ethics at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee’s Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business. Weinberg edits Forbes’ personal finance and Wall Street coverage, and writes regularly about controversial practices in business and politics. The Business Ethics Speaker Series engages students, faculty, alumni and the business community in thought-provoking dialogue about ethical issues in business. Associated Risk Group to present at WBA forums
Associated Risk Group will share its expertise at the upcoming Wisconsin Bankers Association Compliance Forums. Lyn Hall-Fore and Kim Wirtz, regulatory compliance consultants with Associated Risk Group, will cover Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering compliance issues. Three sessions will be held Nov. 18-20 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Dells and Milwaukee. The WBA forums will feature bankers, legal experts, regulators and consultants and will provide bank officers with compliance information in a seminar format, with a focus on Wisconsin state law. They will also allow for extensive interaction among peers during breakout sessions and roundtable discussions.
