Who is your role model and why? "’There were a number of influences, but the one person whose words most influenced my life were John F. Kennedy when he said at the start of the U.S. space venture, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…” I don’t like taking the easy way out of anything. I have found that rarely leads to a good solution for all parties involved.'”
 
What was the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
“My wife, friends and I try to come up with new and different costumes every Halloween, some of them homemade. One year my wife and I dressed-up as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. I wore a sign that said “Stud the Spud”, hers read “I da Ho” We went down to Water Street and went from club to club. In great Milwaukee, we were met with everything from laughter, to jokes, to come back next year, ‘to Oh! I get it, Idaho potato!'”
