Broan-NuTone launches line of wireless bathroom speakers

Hartford-based Broan-NuTone LLC has unveiled the Broan Ventilation Fan with Sensonic Stereo Speakers, which allows consumers to easily enjoy music or their favorite audio wirelessly from their own devices during their morning routines in the bathroom.

Designed ideally for use in the bathroom, the Broan Ventilation Fan with Sensonic Stereo Speakers delivers high-quality audio via most Bluetooth-enabled devices. The kit featuring the fan with the speakers has a suggested retail price of $383.34.

The speakers in the fan prevent clutter on countertops and storage spaces, and free up bathroom outlets.

“With this product, we wanted to show consumers that bathroom ventilation fans can add more value to their homes and daily routines,” said Ann Roever, marketing director of household ventilation for Broan-NuTone. “The Sensonic Speakers deliver brilliant audio performance from behind the ventilation fan grille, providing you with your favorite music and audio while hidden in plain sight in your bathroom.”

Sensonic Stereo Speakers are available in two configurations to fit seamlessly into new or current bathroom designs. The complete Ventilation Fan with Sensonic Stereo Speakers features a powerful yet quiet operating ventilation fan (110 CFM fan, 1.0 Sone) with built-in dual high-fidelity speakers that deliver high-end stereo performance while concealed behind the fan grille.

The Broan-NuTone Sensonic Speaker Kit, which has the same high-end audio quality performance as the Broan Ventilation Fan with Sensonic Stereo Speakers, can be easily retrofitted to most Broan or NuTone QT Series ventilation fans installed in homes today. The price for the speakers kit is $176.68.

In other Broan-NuTone news, the company has created a new Premium Humidity Sensing Control featuring Sensaire humidity-sensing technology as a stand-alone wall unit. The new control uses Broan-NuTone’s proven humidity-sensing technology, which can detect a rapid rise in humidity to turn the fan on.

Additionally, BEST, a designer of luxury range hoods and a registered trademark of Broan-NuTone, has introduced the new Cattura downdraft. It is as effective as a traditional island hood, but with the form of a thin, sleek and retractable unit that elevates kitchen design and improves indoor air quality.

Finally, Broan-NuTone announced on Friday that 36 models in its ULTRA Green series were awarded the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2015 designation. For a full list of ENERGY STAR-recognized models, visit broan.com or nutone.com.
