Boy Scouts host Corporate Pinewood Derby Contest

The Boy Scouts of America Milwaukee County recently held its Corporate Pinewood Derby Contest

The Boy Scouts of America Milwaukee County held its Corporate Pinewood Derby Contest at the Harley Davidson Museum last night. Teams from Milwaukee-area companies competed in a familiar Cub Scout tradition by racing homemade pinewood derby cars down a track. Participating companies included: Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Waukesha Electric Systems Inc, Twin Disc Inc., Patrick Cudahy Inc., Ladish Forging LLC and P&H Mining Equipment Inc. The teams competed for trophies in categories like fastest car, best corporation, best of show and best dressed pit crew.

Winners from the evening were:

  • Best of Corporation: P&H Mining

  • Fastest 1st Place: Harley Davidson Motor Company
  • Fastest 2nd Place: Harley Davidson Motor Company
