The BMO Harris Bank on Paradise Drive in West Bend is closing, according to the West Bend Daily News.
Customers received a letter this week saying the branch, 960 Paradise Dr., would close March 1, 2014.
“The branch is closing due to low customer volume,” said BMO spokesman Jim Kappel.
This is the latest wave of downsizing for the Chicago-based bank, which acquired Marshall & Ilsley in December 2010. Kappel said six other branches in Wisconsin are also closing as part of this recent consolidation. They are: Gillett, Coon Valley, Mountain, West Baraboo, St. Germain and New Lisbon.
In July 2011, BMO Harris announced the closure of the M&I branch at 325 Valley Ave. in West Bend. At the time it was among 13 branches BMO Harris was closing in the Midwest. West Bend has two remaining BMO branches. BMO Harris also has a location in Jackson.
