Cindy Knutson-Lycholat, owner of Knutson Bros. II LLC, East Troy, received the 2006 Remodeler of the Year award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Washington, D.C., for her work in the remodeling industry. The award is given annually to an entrepreneur who exemplifies business acumen; business longevity; service to the industry; community involvement and customer satisfaction. In addition to her award for National Remodeler of the Year, Knutson-Lycholat was recognized in July 2006 by Qualified Remodeler magazine as one of 10 women leaders who have had an impact on the remodeling industry. Knutson-Lycholat was involved in starting a NAHB student chapter; an initiative in funding and developing a high school Building Trades Academy; received approval to teach five NAHB University Housing courses, and has assisted in writing three of the initial Certified Graduate Remodeler courses.

Abri Health Plan Inc., West Allis, received certification as a managed care organization providing health care services to Washington County Medicaid Supplementary Security Income (SSI) members and Family Medicaid enrollees. Abri Health Plan contracted with SynergyHealth, West Bend, and Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus, Mequon. Abri Health Plan provides health care services in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Kenosha, Racine, and Ozaukee counties in Family Medicaid, BadgerCare, and SSI.

100 Monkeys, Wauwatosa, added Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee; Lake Express Ferry, Milwaukee; Bonefish Grill, Brookfield, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Brookfield, to its list of clients. The Milwaukee Ballet will utilize the communications firm for promoting upcoming shows. 100 Monkeys is working with Lake Express Ferry, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar as their public relations firm of record.
Plunkett Raysich Architects
Plunkett Raysich Architects, Milwaukee, received an honor award for its work on Waukesha Fire Station No. 1 and was featured in the December issue of FireRescue magazine. The Fire Industry Equipment Research Organization, in conjunction with FireRescue magazine and the International Association of Fire Chiefs hosted the award competition. The 27,000-square-foot station will open in March and also serves as the fire department’s headquarters. The building features five apparatus bays for 13 emergency vehicles and trailers, an exercise room and office space for the Fire Prevention Bureau.
Plunkett Raysich Architects was also recently recognized by Interior Design magazine as one of 40 Health Care Giants in the Country. The recognition was based on the firm’s work in 2006 on hospitals, outpatient facilities and medical offices.

Cambridge Major Laboratories Inc., Germantown, partnered with Arlington Capital Partners, Washington, D.C., to build a full service drug development organization focused in active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), formulation and regulatory consulting services. Cambridge Major, an outsourced chemistry services provider to pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, will serve as the platform company to assemble a portfolio of critical services for pharmaceutical customers seeking to accelerate and maximize their drug development process. Arlington Capital brings relationships, strategic focus and capital to fuel further expansion of Cambridge Major, and to help fund acquisition activities in complimentary business areas including formulation, regulatory consulting, clinical packaging/distribution and physical form determination. Noise Branding Communications
Noise Branding Communications, Milwaukee and Sanibel, Fla., was named agency of record for MaternaCare, Menomonee Falls. Noise Branding Communications will develop a Web site for MaternaCare at www.mymaternacare.com, create package design for its first product release, offer public relations support and produce marketing materials as products are launched. MaternaCare produces a new skin care line developed by obstetrician Dr. Jacquelyn Marie Paykel and were designed for women to use while expecting and postpartum.
The Networking Community LLC
The Networking Community LLC (TNC), Menomonee Falls, launched the first of several TNC member groups on the East Coast in Leesburg, Va. TNC plans to expand its membership model created in Wisconsin into the Washington, D.C. region in the next year.
