SmartChoice MRI
SmartChoice MRI, Milwaukee, is currently offering MRI services for $600 to its patients. Most area MRIs cost $1,300 to $3,000. Self-insured patients or those with high deductibles or Health Savings Accounts are expected to benefit most from the availability of low-cost, high-quality MRIs. SmartChoice MRI is able to capture extremely detailed images through the use of the GE Excite system. Typical scans are breast; neurological; brain imaging; spine studies; orthopedic, including elbow, wrist, hip, knee, foot and ankle; pelvis; abdominal and vascular studies to evaluate blood flow. The service is open to everyone and the $600 fee covers the entire procedure.

Visual Systems Inc. (VSI), Milwaukee, received the Best Workplace in the Americas designation, Best of the Best 2006, for exemplary human resources practices. VSI has received a Best Workplace award every year since the program’s inception six years ago. The 2006 award is the second time VSI received the Best of the Best award.
Community Outreach Health Clinic
Community Outreach Health Clinic, Menomonee Falls, received a $5,000 grant from Waukesha County Community Foundation. Community Outreach Health Clinic serves the primary outpatient medical and dental needs of uninsured and underinsured individuals in Waukesha, Washington and northern Milwaukee counties who are unable to afford basic health care. Community Outreach Health Clinic provides care for more than 1,800 individuals per year. The medical services are made possible through in-kind support from Community Memorial Hospital and a network of other providers, the efforts of more than 100 clinical and support volunteers and financial support from the community.

Cieslik Celek Interior Design LLC
Cieslik Celek Interior Design LLC, Milwaukee, recently completed an interior design project for Kidz Unplugged, Franklin. Kids Unplugged is a recreation center, gymnasium and spa for children. Cieslik Celek created a health-minded environment that is also playful and imaginative for the space with elements including giant fish tanks, an interactive water feature, portholes, mirrors, dioramas and affirmations to read on the walls.
