Allen Edmonds to open new store in Mequon

Just months after its Mequon store was destroyed by fire, Allen Edmonds Schoe Corp. will open a new store this month a few blocks down the road, next to the Mark Berman & Son men’s clothier at 11920 North Port Washington Road.
“We are excited to be opening right next to the Bermans’ store, offering Allen Edmonds classic men’s shoes and belts to complement their selection of exceptional men’s clothing,” notes Paul Grangaard, president and chief executive officer at Port Washington-based Allen Edmonds. “Staying in Mequon and supporting the community is important to our company in many ways. Our shoes are produced nearby in Port Washington, and we appreciate Milwaukee as our hometown, filled with many staunch AE supporters.”
The company’s full line of American designed, handcrafted shoe and belt styles will be available at the store, along with a selection of accessories, including socks, ties, cufflinks and personal leather goods.
