George W. Bush to serve as keynote speaker in Milwaukee

Teen Challenge Wisconsin, a faith-based drug and alcohol restoration program, will host it’s 27th annual Banquet and Auction on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Frontier Airlines Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. Former president George W. Bush will be the keynote speaker at event.
President Bush has been focused on developing the George W. Bush presidential center at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The center will serve as a museum of the Bush presidency and will feature a replica of the Oval Office, historic artifacts from his presidency as well as the white house archives from his term. An institute dedicated to promoting action-oriented initiatives in human freedom, education, economic opportunity, social opportunity as well as a women’s initiative will also begin programming in the Center in spring of 2011. Bush has also written a book, Decision Points, that will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 9.
All proceeds from the event will go to support Teen Challenge Wisconsin’s long term residential addiction recovery programs throughout the greater Milwaukee area.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:15 p.m. with president Bush’s remarks to begin at 7:30 p.m. Cost to attend is $100 per person, for tickets or more information visit www.teenchallengeonline.com.
