Wisconsin State Sen. Judy Robson, D-Beloit, and State Rep. Kim Hixson, D-Whitewater, were recently selected as the 2009 Easter Seals Outstanding Advocates of the Year. Robson and Hixson were nominated because of their leadership in crafting legislation that would cover autism services. Both officials were recognized for their service in Washington D.C. last fall, but Robson is shown below accepting her award at the Easter Seals southeast Wisconsin’s employee appreciation event.
